I regret to inform you that GasPriceWatch, our gas price feed provider, has decided to no longer provide Gashound with information for gas prices.
As of March 13, 2009 they have cut the feed that you access from your device. This means we do not have gas price information to provide, and we are also unable to utilize the database used to store your Gas Price Updates. Unfortunately, there is no way for us to continue publishing this service without the support of GasPriceWatch.
We thank you for all the support and amazing e-mails of gratitude over the past 9 months. The fact that we have had so much positive feedback makes this even harder.
We want you to know that through your support we were able to send our first check to MIT for clean energy research. Even though it was not much, we hope it will be enough to spark the ingenuity their students are famous for.
We don't want to leave you in the dark when it comes to finding cheap gas so we've scouted out other applications and want to recommend these three:
